Board update
We are moving forward with all our projects and plans. Our attorney, Beth has submitted the Articles of Incorporation to the State. The next step is to complete the publication and then on the Federal Government for non-profit status.
The Architectural Committee headed by Russ has pictures and descriptions of all the properties. We were lucky to be able to copy the inventory that was done for the nomination for the National Register of Historic Places.
The Events Committee headed by Cheryl is gearing up for our first G.A.I.N. night.
Bud has been busy on the website.
Our street scape project is in need of funding about $70,000, however it looks like we are back on track.
Over the next few months we will need everyones help providing input to the Planed Area Development and Historic Overlay. We are all facing challenges when it comes to historic preservation and restoration.
Good news, the social part of our organization is RIGHT ON TRACK.
Dine Out Night
On the third Wednesday of every month Catlin Court family and friends dine out at a selected restaurant in the area.
Behind every successful event is a very determined individual. Paula Davidson is that person. Every month she selects the restaurant, reserves the tables and then gets busy trying to contact everyone she can. Those of you on her names list get phone calls, e-mails, and for some even a home visit. Paula has taken dining to a new level for us. It's a great time to visit, catch up on news and enjoy a charming dinner. Most restaurants in the Downtown are typically slow or closed on Wednesday so they really give us carte blanche.
Then next time you see Paula remember to thank her for all her hard work and for the great times we get to enjoy.
